Personal
Salzgitter is my home – this is where I was born, this is where I have carried responsibility for almost two decades. Our city is in the midst of the greatest industrial transformation in its history. I want to continue to accompany this path with experience and reliability: for secure work, lively districts and strong solidarity.
Salzgitter grew out of salt, ore and 28 villages – a city of work and of getting things done. This mixture of industrial pride, down-to-earthness and solidarity shapes me. Those who live here roll up their sleeves and stick together. This is exactly the spirit I experience every day.
Salzgitter is polycentric: 31 districts with their own character, from Lebenstedt through Salzgitter-Bad to Watenstedt. Each has its strengths and its concerns. It is important to me to be close – to listen, to be on site and to make sure that no district is left behind.
